The T-45 Goshawk is the US Navy's Advanced Jet Trainer. It has served the Navy in this role since the late 1980s. The T-45 is a heavily modified BAE Hawk, and was designed to handle the abuse of Aircraft Carrier Qualification. The T-45 is the first jet that Navy flight students will carrier qualify in before moving onto their fleet aircraft (FA-18, F-35, EA-18, E-2, C-2). Every Naval Aviator in the modern era that flies one of these aircraft has flown and carrier qualified in the T-45 Goshawk. The T-45 is near and dear to my heart as it is an aircraft I flew in flight school.
The Jet-Eyes T-45 tag was cut from a flap off a T-45C. The "Tag + cross-section" tags come with a cross section of the inner flap. These pieces remained after the tag material was salvaged. They have been cut into slices and lightly sanded. There are only 10 of them available.
The "Tag Only" option is just to purchase a T-45 tag.
The T-45 tag can also be purchased in a combo pack with the T-38 tag. These combos can be purchased on the home page.
There will be 2 other variants of the T-45 tag released at a later date: a white and an orange one. These other variants were cut from different sections of the aircraft. Collect them all!
The T-45 tag features "hook down" aircraft art by Planeform and comes with a cardback featuring custom artwork by BVR.
***Jet-Eyes tags are cut from real aircraft parts. Jet-Eyes is in no way affiliated with any aircraft manufacturer. ***
