Phantoms always get my heart going. Our first F-4C tag has long been sold out, but a few months ago we were able to get the last fuselage section from this aircraft along with some new F-4 material! These tags turned out amazing.

The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a 2-seat fighter/interceptor developed in the late 1950s. It’s capable of speeds over Mach 2.2 and can carry more than 18,000 pounds of weapons. The F-4 saw significant combat during the Vietnam War as an air superiority fighter and flew ground attack missions. A total of 5,195 Phantoms were built. These tags were cut from F-4C 63-7418 - a USAF jet. We acquired this material in January of this year.

Only 150 tags were squeezed out of the forwaard fuselage section off 63-7418 for this second edition run. They are offered in 4 variants: Dark Grey, Olive, Cockpit, and Green. The Grey and Olive tags were cut from exterior skin, and most are single layer thick. The Cockpit tags were cut from various cockpit panels and flooring. The Green tags were cut from interior fuselage skin and structure. These tags come on cards featuring the original F-4C card art using our new card stock and layout. The backs of these tags will come etched with our logo and “Second Edition” below it.

Some variants are very limited. These come on a card by BVR.
