The Hawker Hurricane is a British fighter that first flew in 1935. The Hurricane was a formidable aircraft that saw action in every major theater of WWII. A carrier-capable version of the Hurricane was also produced for the Royal Navy, which used the aircraft prior to adopting the Supermarine Seafire. Aircraft PZ865 is a Mk.II.C Hurricane that holds the distinction of being the last Hurricane built. PZ865 currently flies with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
