The Supermarine Seafire first flew in 1942 and was a naval variant of the Supermarine Spitfire. The Seafire was specifically adapted for aircraft carrier operations. Powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, the Seafire first saw combat in the Allied landings in North Africa during Operation Torch in November 1942. Aircraft SX336 is a restored airworthy Seafire Mk.XVII and is based in the United Kingdom.
These Air Drops were cut from aluminum wing skin that was removed from aircraft SX336 during its restoration by Kennet Aviation in the early 2000s. Most Air Drops are raw and some may have original paint.
For a limited time, all Seafire SX336 Air Drops come in our acrylic cards.
Fulfillment is random. There are no returns on Air Drops.
